In Depth: Brandon Hunter

How old are you and what is your relationship status?
I am 21 and currently taken.

What kind of work do you do?
I am studying Computer science at a small liberal arts college in Virginia. I hope to enter into the IT field when I graduate.

What are your hobbies?
I am a casual photographer. I would not go as far as to say that I am a pro, but I love to take pictures and capture memories. I also like the standard responses such as: hanging with friends, reading, partying, yadda yadda. I'm just your typical college student yet oh-so more.

Do you have any special skills?
I am probably the only person I know that can spit out more html coding without reference. I suppose that is considered nerdy skills. I am also quite proficient in Halo on XBOX live, but that doesn't help my reputation either unless anyone reading this loves video game nerds.

What turns you on? What is your "type"?
My type is a tall gentleman with a certain aura of confidence and sexiness. I like dark hair and light eyes. A sensitive heart and a rugged persona to handle my many quirks is what I love.

Anything interesting about you that your readers wouldn't know?
I am particularly shy when it comes to me voicing out my opinions in public. But, once I enter into the web arena, I become quite opinionated on matters such as politics and religion. I always respect anyone who beliefs different, for in America we are fortunate to believe whatever we wish.

Tell us about it's birth?
I have had a blog for years, but this is the first "adult" blog. In the past, I was childish mostly — clamoring about new video games and never writing anything deeper than what I did for the weekend. Granted, that is sometimes all I have to talk about on my current blog…but ya know.

I opened this blog in early february of this year.

Who is it's intended audience?
Anyone who will leave their comments on my entries — whether they be political, religious, or just personal responses. I like knowing that my readers are influenced by my writings whether it make them angry, stir something senstive inside of them, etc…

How many daily visitors does it get?
My tracker counts about 70 a day, which is not bad for a beginner.

If you could sum up your blog in one sentence, what would it be?
I am random and I love to prove it.

If you had unlimited time, budget and staff, how would you change your blog?
I don't think I would want all of that. I like it how it is, personable and collective of my feelings and responses to todays world.

How much time a week do you spend on your blog?
Too long. About 3+ hours a day; whether it be coding, blogging, working out the scripting kinks, etc…

How many blogs do you read weekly? What are your favorites?
I love to read the BGB homepage. I am still discovering a few new ones as more entries are being articulated on the new site. Some of my current favorite blogs are mostly wordpress development blogs.

With the dawn of the summer and more time on my hands, I hope to respond more to the news and current events.

What do you see different in your life two years from now?
Graduating and moving on to a job that pays well (hopefully). For my blog, I hope it grows and gains even just a lil bit of prestige.
