Showtime Gains Gays

“Nurse Jackie”, starring The Sopranos’ Edie Falco as an iconoclastic, opinionated, self-medicating nurse in New York City will be one of Showtime’s new series with gay content. The show will also features playing Maurice, a gay Muslim who is one of Jackie’s co-workers and best friends. The Role of Maurice will be one of the main characters in the show.
