Go West? Not So Fast.

A lawsuit that seeks to force a vote on Oregon’s domestic partnership law ran into a panel of skeptical federal judges Tuesday. A group of voters is seeking to reverse a decision by Oregon elections officials who disqualified a referendum on Oregon’s new law giving many of the legal benefits of marriage to same-sex couples who register for domestic partnerships.Officials said the petition was short of the number of voter signatures needed to get on the November ballot.  Read and Respond to this at hrcbackstory.org.
