Obama Leads Big With GLBT

Barack Obama leads John McCain among registered voters 44 percent to 35 percent, according to a new Harris Interactive poll. The other two candidates, Bob Barr and Ralph Nader are equal with 2 percent each. However, Sixteen percent of registered voters are not sure whom they will vote for.
Among th GLBT voters, 60 percent are for Obama while 14 percent favor McCain. Bar and Nader share three percent of GLBT favor. Among independents, Obama carries a 12-point lead over McCain.
The findings also show that 90 percent of African-Americans are voting for Obama, 60 percent of Latinos. The white vote is still leaning republican giving McCain 40 percent versus Obama’s 34 percent.
The results of this Harris Poll were complied from 2,690 U.S. adults surveyed online July 3-11 by Harris Interactive. Get more at gay.com.
