Equality Forum in collaboration with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce contacted the CEOs and HR Directors of FORTUNE 500 companies that did not include “sexual orientation” in their hiring and employment nondiscrimination policies. Equality Forum identified 177 companies that did not provide protection or whose status was unknown. Equality Forum provided information and offered assistance.
