WebDreams Season 3

August 22, 2008 by James

Back for a highly anticipated third season, WEBDREAMS, the Gemini-nominated documentary television series, delivers 10 new eye-popping episodes, delving even more deeply into the world of Internet pornography. The 10-part half-hour series produced by Galafilm premieres Friday, September 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, airing weekly in that timeslot exclusively on Showcase.

“We’re thrilled to be back. The success of the first two seasons helped us get even more access to the industry and even deeper into the lives of our characters,” said WEBDREAMS creator and producer Michael Kronish.

“Full of character and real-life drama, WEBDREAMS fans will not be disappointed by this popular fly-on-the-wall look at the online world of adult entertainment,” adds Michael Kot, Vice President, Factual Content, Canwest Broadcasting.

Drawing from more than 600 hours of footage, WEBDREAMS captures the glitter and grime of this multi-billion dollar industry, as seen through the eyes of six rousing new characters. PARIS is a star webcam seductress who’s tempted to make the leap into hardcore porn; JORDAN has plans to take an even bigger piece of the webcam pie; SEVEN is also hoping to cash in, by combining two of his favourite things: hip hop music and hardcore porn; CHRIS STEELE and CHAD DONOVAN, two of gay porn’s biggest names, find themselves teamed up at Jet Set Productions; Canadian Fetish Queen MAXINE X and her husband SCOTT badly want a taste of mainstream stardom; and TOMMY PISTOL, the alt-porn king of New York, is gambling that the director’s chair will lead to a new and brighter future in Los Angeles.

Season III of WEBDREAMS is filmed in HD and broadcast in HD where available. Filming was based in Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, Newfoundland, Las Vegas, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and the Dominican Republic.

WEBDREAMS was created by Michael Kronish and Season III is produced by Kronish and Gregory Fine. The series is directed by Ziad Touma and Christie Callan-Jones. Patricia Chica is creative consultant and co-directed. Galafilm’s Arnie Gelbart is executive producer.

WEBDREAMS is produced by Galafilm Inc. in association with Showcase and with the participation of the Canadian Television Fund.
