I need to speak from my own experience. In 2005 my partner and I decided to get married, but being a binational couple living in Peru because the american embassy denied me the visa we decided to get married by religion in a opening gay church located in Trujillo (2 hours from my birth town Chimbote) I am from Peru and he is from USA, if we could have the chance to get married by law sure we were do and I do believe we can do the same of a straight marriage. We need to change peoplep’s minds and put our rights on the table. Fighting for what we believe now and then.
