California Governor Hopeful Supports Prop 8

Former Ebay executive Meg Whitman has announced her candidacy for this year’s gubernatorial race in California. The announcement came with a broad outline of her positions on several issues, among them marriage equality. Some voters may be put off by her support of Proposition 8, which banned marriage between same-sex couples in California last November.
