Coupled with a recession comes major job loss across most sectors in the workplace. When this happens people go into survival mode. Those who don’t immediately find a replacement job get very creative. This creativity leads to them doing their own thing. Multiply this by thousands and you end up with a few good businesses startups that are flexible enough to withstand hard times. They start on a budget and stay on a budget. It’s how they were modeled and how they will survive.
