SAS Man Kills Lover!
September 30, 2009 by Jason Shaw
It’s been confirmed that a former British SAS soldier has admitted murdering his gay lover in a house they shared in France.
The French police cops swooped on the former secret Special Air Serives veteran Maurice Martin after finding his former partner’s John Bradshaw’s passport in a car he had sold. Mr Bradshaw, 55, had been reported missing several weeks earlier.
After two days in custody, the 27-year-old former soldier, who had served in Iraq and Kosovo, made a full confession and led the police to the body. The strangled corpse was found dumped in bushes beside the remote Cieux lake in southern France.
Police said Mr Bradshaw had been murdered a number of weeks before his body was found, the detectives in Limoges said Martin was arrested after a man came to them with a passport he had found in a Citroen Berlingo van bought from the former soldier.
Public prosecutor Michel Garrandau said: “Martin has been charged with premeditated murder after confessing. He is being held in custody in Limoges. The strangulation happened after an argument. The cause of the argument is being investigated.”
Garrandau said an emotional Martin led the police to the spot where his boyfriend’s body was dumped.
