Barack Obama is committed to turning around the economy and helping every American have the opportunity to achieve the American Dream. Barack will start us on a path to prosperity by first changing the tax policy. The Bush tax cuts give those who earn over $1 million dollars a tax cut nearly 160 times greater than that received by middle-income Americans. Obama will cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families, and eliminate income taxes for seniors who make less than $50,000 per year.

Obama Leads Big With GLBT

Barack Obama leads John McCain among registered voters 44 percent to 35 percent, according to a new Harris Interactive poll. The other two candidates, Bob Barr and Ralph Nader are equal with 2 percent each. However, Sixteen percent of registered voters are not sure whom they will vote for.

Among th GLBT voters, 60 percent are for Obama while 14 percent favor McCain. Bar and Nader share three percent of GLBT favor. Among independents, Obama carries a 12-point lead over McCain.

The findings also show that 90 percent of African-Americans are voting for Obama, 60 percent of Latinos. The white vote is still leaning republican giving McCain 40 percent versus Obama’s 34 percent.

The results of this Harris Poll were complied from 2,690 U.S. adults surveyed online July 3-11 by Harris Interactive. Get more at gay.com.
