Hi Hayden, first of all thanks for sitting down with me for this interview, what are you up to?
Hiii! No problem!! Right now I’m feeding my addiction for Twitter! Haha I told myself that I would NEVER use twitter, but look at me now I’m a tweetaholic!! I always love to have new followers!

OK, it’s not long since you’ve come back from Phoenix, and your gay Pride event? Phoenix Pride was GREAT!! It sure was a memorable first pride, not only going to but being apart of it was so awesome!! I saw a lot of people I haven’t seen since my last visit to Phoenix and I met some great new people as well!! I had the pleasure of meeting Patrick Kennedy and Jason Pitt while down there which was really cool. Overall it was definitely a great time!!

Now, you’re young, you’re only 18, and already making inroads into the world of adult entertainment and getting more and more popular?
I know!! Crazy isn’t it? I am very thankful for where I am right now. I can only hope to go further!! I thank all of my supporters and fans for that!

How many scenes have you shot?
So far I have done 8 scenes. 5 for BoyCrush and 3 for Helix. 5 of them being hardcore scenes. Be sure to check em out!!What made you get into this porn business in the first place?
Ive been interested in porn for as long as I can remember. It was always a fascinating subject to me so a couple months after turning 18 I decided to give it a shot! Here I am now!! Loving every minute of it!

Did you have an worries about doing porn?
Not at all! I thought long and hard (no pun intended) about my choice. I’m only worried about right now. Ill deal with things as they come later in life. One step at a time right?Yep, one step at a time, but how far would you like to go in the industry?As far as I can go! I’m in this for the long run and I dont plan on stopping any time soon. Id like to continue to be on camera for a couple years and then possibly move onto something like directing or more behind the scenes work. Maybe have my own studio? Who knows! The possibilities are ENDLESS if you have the right mindset.

Who would you most like to work with?
This question is like a signature interview question!! I always feel like I’m on the spot answering it too cause there are SOO many great models that Id love to work with!! But just to name a few Chase Harding, Patrick Kennedy, Keith Conner, Cody Cachet, Cody Kyler and the lovely Brent Corrigan.
I get the feeling it wont be long before you’re working with some of those guys. Now, talking of the actual work, tell me, is it hard getting and staying hard when filming?Sometimes it is definitely difficult Jason. Sometimes there is a lot of stopping and going so there’s time to lose the moment. Sometimes the chemistry is just so obvious that it makes it easier to stay hard. It all just depends really.

Any ‘trade’ secrets from behind the scenes you want to share with is, or you can tell us about? Any tips?
Filming is such a fun process!! The environment is usually very up beat and everyone is enjoying what they are doing! There are times during a scene where we’ll take a short break for water or just to talk about how the scene is going and where it needs to end up at the end. A scene can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on how things are going. Ive learned that it takes a lot longer the more people you have in a scene. So just remember that when your watching a scene that is 24 minutes long that it could have actually taken 2 hours for that 24 minutes. For anyone reading that is thinking about taking a shot in the business all I can say is that having a positive attitude and a good outlook on things will do you wonders! Porn is a job and it needs to be treated like one.

What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve done on screen and errm off?
Spanking is the most kinkiest thing I have done ON screen. I’m hoping to get into some more kinkier stuff to start exploring. A few years ago I had sex in a hotel stairwell while I was on a date. We ran into the hotel to escape the rain and decided to walk around when all of a sudden we were making out up against some random room and slowly worked our way to the stairwell. Probably one of the hottest moments of my life.

Do all your friends and family know about your choice of career, & what have they said?
Yes. All of my friends and family know that I have chosen to do porn. Surprisingly they are ALL very supportive of it. I get the occasional “be careful honey” or the “are you sure you know what your doing?”. . but they have all been thankfully sooo supportive and I cannot be any happier with it!

Wow, that’s impressive, what did you say, presumably you don’t just come out and say, “mom, dad, I’m gonna do porn for a living?”
Actually Jason, thats exactly how I did it! I mentioned the idea to my mom driving to a friends house and she just kinda laughed and thought it was a phase or that I was only joking. When I actually decided to pursue it I just told her that I was going to do porn. She then told her fiance and my grandmother. We then decided it was best to tell the entire family via Facebook message seeings how my family is in Michigan, we didnt want any confusion or any of the family members saying anything to me that would be offensive. In the end it all worked out and everyone is extremely supportive of my decision. I couldnt be any happier about it!

That’s great, now going back a little, when did you first know you were gay?
Back in 4th grade I started to realize I was attracted to guys. I was unaware that this wasnt normal so I didnt think anything of it at the time. . . little did I know.Was coming out easy for you? How did you do it?My mom and I were driving back home from my grandparents house when I turned to her and said “Mom, I have something to tell you. .” When I said that I knew that she automatically knew what I was going to tell her. Indeed she did know too! I told her about my boyfriend and everything. It was a lot easier than what I thought it would be. My family pretty much already had their suspicions I guess. Coming out definitely lifted a HUGE weight off my shoulders.

Are you with anyone, like romantically at the moment?
No unfortunately not. Part of me wants to stay single and focus on myself and my career but the other half of me almost needs the boyfriend like figure. Just someone I can cuddle up to at night and hold. Who knows though!? The right guy might just come around!

Have you ever been in love?
Ohh Jason, this is always a tough question to answer because I have no clue! At the time of a couple relationships I did feel like I was in love. But then again what exactly is love you know? I’m not sure if I have ever been IN LOVE but I definitely feel like it was something close or similar to love.

Do you think working in porn gets in the way of relationships and dating?
To be honest I believe it all depends on your partner and how open minded they are. Trust is also a huge factor needed in a relationship when your in porn I think. This isn’t really a question I can answer seeings how I haven’t had the experience. I know a lot of guys who are very turned on by the fact that I do porn and others think of it as trashy. I’m just trying to fly solo right now though.

Ok, but what kinda guys turn you on?
Jocky Twinks FOR SURE. Kind of like a Patrick Kennedy haha. Muscular yet twinky.

What would you be doing if you weren’t a porn star?
To be honest I have no clue. Probably still folding clothes at Hollister. I am very thankful for where I am right now. I wouldn’t give any of it up for anything.

What’s next for you?
Thats a good question! Im trying to get on my feet and thinking about moving out soon. Possibly going to start looking for a small part time job too just to keep the money flowing. I plan to continue working for BoyCrush and Helix as much as needed. We’ll see where life takes me I guess. I just dont want to get old haha. Hopefully I’ll be a cute old guy though!

Ahh, I’m sure you’ll be a cute older guy, do you like some older guys, or find them attractive?
Awe thanks! I can only hope so!! I find older guys, who you can tell use to be a super hot twink, waay attractive. I had a flight attendant who was an old twink on my way to Phoenix. I was hoping to join the mile high club that day but things didn’t work out haha.

Continuing in his series of exclusive interviews with the hottest performers in today’s porn industry, Jason Shaw probes the mind and more of the intently popular and very busy Phillip Ashton.

Hi Phillip, first of all, thanks for doing this interview, I know you’re a very busy boy, what are you up to right now?

Hello Jason and thank you for asking me to do this interview! I am, I guess you can say “busy” but I always have time to do things like Interviews and what not. I am currently watching Sex and The City movie and still in my PJ’s and gonna do this interview with you, while its a beautiful day in Scottsdale, AZ again and its tanning weather.

Ahh thank you for staying inside on such a nice day, missing out on tanning that sexy body of yours to do this interview with little old me! But, you are a busy and popular boy, after all, how many DVD’s and scenes have you been in now?

I have 20 DVD’s I believe, scenes I don’t even think I could tell you cause there’s been so many scene’s I’ve been in from Helix, BoyCrush, SaggerzSkaterz and Xtreme Productions to name a few.

20 DVD’s is a lot on it’s own, and all those scenes, and you’re still only 25?

Don’t remind me of my age! Hahaha, I might be 25 but I still look 19! As I’m always told by everyone which is a very good thing! But in a way it stops me from working with jock companies cause of my look and weight which I really can’t help at all. When I think about it I have done a ton of twink DVD’s but like I said I would love to move up and do jock DVD’s.

Some have said you’re the king of the twinks! But anyway, let’s get on and lets get personal, when did you realize you were gay?

I love getting personal its my favorite cause I don’t hold back!

I believe I realized I was gay when I was in the 6th grade and experimented with wearing moms heals, going online and talking to guys. I didn’t start talking to guys until I was 15 and meeting them and all which was a bit scary cause I was young, I met an Abercrombie model and he was my first bf for 3 years. But about in the 6th grade is when I think I knew I was gay.

How did you come out and was it an easy thing for you to do?

In all honesty I came out to my Mom when we got into a big fight when I was kicked out, I said this to her “Oh and you know my best friend George? He’s not my best friend he’s my BOYFRIEND!”
She must have taken it well cause I didn’t hear anything else after that, were actually very close now then what we were which makes me extremely happy.

I can just picture that in my head, must have been an explosive moment! Not coming out of the closet quietly, but bounding out, loud, proud and screaming! So, now, you’re young and free, and a big start in porn. Now, porn is not every ones idea of a career, how or why and when did you first get into porn?

I would really have to agree with you on porn being the one career you have cause it never works! Unless your an exclusive or have that look and your getting work then yes it is, but these newbies coming into the industry thing there gonna get everything and work work work and about 3-5 months in there done.

I was actually told by a friend to do modeling which I said okay why not? I was then asked if I was interested in nudes and that it paid more so I said yes cause it was a challenge for me to do it, everything went well and I was just freshly 18 and that’s when I got started in this industry.

What was that first experience like?

My very first experience was like I’m sure everyone’s… it was the most nerve wrecking thing ever cause you know I haven’t done nudes and in front of someone I didn’t know, trying to keep a hard on etc. I think it all went well in the end cause I am still modeling for the company which I now work for behind the scenes for the online store and directing and filming which is a ton of fun.

What do you like doing most ?

I love the traveling I love meeting new faces and bigger stars but the thing I like the most is the actual fucking I put my passion into it cause I’m all about making a good scene and having it look good.

I think that’s perhaps why people like you, why you’re popular, because you put a lot into everything you do. There is a lot of passion there, which shows. Who would you say, has been the best guy you’ve ever worked with?

There’s only been 2 so far and that’s Hayden Chandler from BoyCrush and Ethan Storm that I did Teach Twinks with and lemme tell you the connection with both these boys where off the charts, they were beyond fucking HOT scenes! I’m sure there will be more to come but as of right now this very moment those are the only 2 that I have had amazing sexy with.

Anything odd, strange or funny happened to you on set?

I haven’t had anything at all weird happen on set but while on a shoot there was a problem with a model who decided to go CRAZY and throw a fit cause at the time was my boyfriend and apparently I wasn’t paying him attention? Lemme call BULLSHIT not cause I didn’t wanna leave his side or anything but he was the one trying to sneak away to go and do god knows what?

Other then that nothing has really happened to me strange or odd but funny yes cause I make it funny and have fun on set!

Interesting, so as we’re getting really personal now, tell me, whats the kinkiest thing you’ve done on screen and errm off?

I haven’t done anything kinky on film which is a shock cause I like kinky things!

But off screen, I love to tie people up, blind fold them, make my own personal sex videos, when I have someone to have sex with! Hehe Oh and spanking and a few other things.

Oh that’s exciting, now is there an other half? Are you with anyone, like romantically at the moment?

I actually am not I just got out well found out I was being cheated on and lied to and I don’t do well with lying and cheating and game playing.

So no I am not but I am talking to a few people and I do have 3 that I am interested in.

Is it hard to have a relationship when you work in this industry?

I would say no but everyone is different when it comes to a relationship being in the porn industry, I love how there are couples who make it work cause it shows that there is hope for couple being in porn.

This is my thing on making it work, knowing the making of movies is just work, when the camera is off that’s it, you don’t go and hook up with someone off camera cause that’s cheating.

There shouldn’t be a competition at all between you and your man for work cause then it makes one jealous and then there’s gonna be problems. But everyone is different my thing is don’t cheat don’t lie and don’t play games cause I’m not the one to do that with.

Do you prefer to date some one from within the porn industry or outside it?

I try to go outside but you know there is a few very good industry models who are very sweet and real which is so rare! I am currently talking to someone in the industry now but I don’t know what’s gonna happen, it is looking very good though he’s sweet beautiful and yeah!!

I would like to date someone out of the industry but many don’t understand the job that I do, they think its cheating, when I see it differently but its all good, like I said I’m talking to a few people but the one in the industry is the one I’m looking forward to.

Oh cool, so things are looking up on that side of life, which is good, but what kinda guys turn Phillip on?

I like all guys to be honest but personality is a big thing you can be hot as fuck but if you don’t have a personality then what the hell is the point?

I think if its like that then you should just fuck and that’s it! Call me shallow but personality is a big thing for me.

That’s about as far from shallow as you can get, it’s very endearing. Porns a living, work, so what do you do to relax and chill out?

I love to just chill at home and watch movies or be on the computer or clean so the house isn’t a disaster! Lay by the pool since its getting hot, shop hang out with friends go to parties etc. There is a ton of things to do here in Arizona, but the one thing i really which there was here to chill out at is a beach but we have dirt!

Haha, I live right by the beach! But, it’s a lot colder over here in England! We’ve already established you’ve been a busy boy, done loads and loads of scenes. You’re working more behind the camera, producing, directing and filming stuff these days. But, what would you be doing if you weren’t in porn, if you weren’t a porn star?

If I wasn’t a porn star right now I think I would be with my best friend in NYC doing what me and her talked about doing, that’s designing shoes and being like the worlds best shoe designer Christian Louboutin! She’s in fashion now and I would love to take on the fashion world with women’s shoes and men’s for that matter to.

What was the last thing to make you cry?

The very last thing that made me cry was when I was in a car accident about 5 weeks ago now, I couldn’t breath and just being in shock from it all. It really does take a lot to make me cry unless there is something really bothering me and I just need to, I’m not scared to cry but I’m a pretty strong boy and can take a lot.

I know, I saw the photos of the car accident on your lovely blog, eiiks, looked a bit scary, glad you’re OK now though. On the other side of emotion, what was the last thing to make you laugh?

I laugh on the daily from everything! TV shows, text, twitter, Facebook, all of it! I laugh most with my best friend Angel Benton! he’s so hilarious and can cheer me up in 2.5 seconds. If you don’t laugh daily then there is a problem in your life and we need to change that ASAP!

Love and laughter, that’s the key, so Phillip, what’s next for you?

I wish I knew what was next for me! I am just going with the flow right now and whatever happens goes I guess, I’m just happy to be alive and living life to the fullest and not letting little things bother me.

That’s a great way to be, a great life philosophy, what the greatest thing anyone has ever done for you, or you’ve done for someone else?

I would have to say the greatest thing that has been done for me is having friends who really give a fuck about me, who helped me though very bad times and helped me not go back to old ways when I was at a low in my life.

The best thing I’ve done for others is help them when there in a bind and I would put them before me which left me broke sadly to say, but in the end it made me happy I helped someone out.

I have changed that though cause I was being used and now I put myself before I do anything or anyone else unless its a very good friend.
