So after I put up the previous posting for today I go to Facebook and what do I see but a FB posting from booted out former Lt Dan Choi who announces he is going to under go a colonoscopy and US Marshals are looking for him .. WTF !!

So I got this letter in the mail… The Army is trying to collect a few thousand dollars from me for the DADT discharge. And then the US Marshals visited my gay Muslim friend’s NYC apartment looking for me (I used to couchsurf there.) And I have a colonoscopy tomorrow at the VA. It just gets better all the time, folks!

Umm … Dan refer to what your T-shirt reads.

Now regarding the up the boo-de-aye exam, I’ve had two since I’ve turned 50 and for God’s sake it’s no big deal .. in fact it’s rather pleasurable what with being drugged up and in semi-la-la-land, you don’t feel a thing kids trust me on this.

Well to read one comment from some idol-worshipping dumb ass bastard you’d think Choi was undergoing major heart surgery…. prayers are with you during your colonoscopy.

“I would be a liar and an idiot if I didn’t thank Sarah Palin for helping me get here tonight,” Fey said.  “My partial resemblance and her crazy voice are the two luckiest things that have ever happened to me.”

But it wasn’t all fun and humor as Fey also remarked:

Fey wasn’t so complimentary, however, about the sudden increase of conservative women politicians. Fey said the surge is a positive thing for women “unless you don’t want to pay for your own rape kit . . . unless you’re a lesbian who wants to get married to your partner of 20 years . . . [or] unless you believe in evolution.”

But Mondays are the worst. Mondays are the reason I rolled out of my bed, ate Chinese-red carpet (yum, synthetic fiber with my own flakes of skin, so tasty!), crawled into the bathroom, saw the horrorshow that was my face, and proceeded to painfully primp up, all the time longingly looking at the sky for a sign—anything—of a snow day. Frantic, I grabbed the iPhone and tapped. No, there was no message on my answering machine at work from the broadcast system. No, not a drop of snow. Meanwhile, folks down South were comfortably snoozing away, possibly entertaining of a day filled with sloth.

At first glance, high school senior Lucas Faber, 18, seems like any ordinary gay teen. He’s a member of his school’s swing choir, enjoys shopping at the mall, and has sex with other males his age. But lately, a growing worry has begun to plague this young gay man. A gnawing feeling that, deep down, he may be a fundamentalist, right-wing Christian.

“I don’t know what’s happening to me,” Faber admitted to reporters Monday. “It’s like I get these weird urges sometimes, and suddenly I’m tempted to go behind my friends’ backs and attend a mega church service, or censor books in the school library in some way. Even just the thought of organizing a CD-burning turns me on.”

Added Faber, “I feel so confused.”

The openly gay teen, who came out to his parents at age 14 and has had a steady boyfriend for the past seven months, said he first began to suspect he might be different last year, when he started feeling an odd stirring within himself every time he passed a church. The more conservative the church, Faber claimed, the stronger his desire was to enter it.
