But yet there are those LGBT person who are and just as there are, there are many GOP’ers who are so pissed off about it they’ve decided to boycott one of the party’s biggest rallies.

Politico’s Ben Smith reported over the weekend on the decision by certain social conservatives to boycott the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) next month because a gay rights group, GOProud, will be in attendance.

Nah; all 42 members of the GOP Senate caucus have vowed to block any legislation that doesn’t have to do with protecting millionaires’ tax rates or deficit cuts. Prosecute America’s war criminals? Surely, you’re joking!

Nope; the thing they’re exercised about is a short art video that’s part of a new exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution, “Hide/Seek: Difference and Desire in American Portraiture.”

However, with the issue of gay marriage heating up, it looks as though his stint could be in jeopardy has his opponent is using the issue to try to drive a wedge between the openly gay Republican and his supporters.

Gazelka, a former legislator and now his party’s endorsed candidate, reminded the crowd that he had pushed a so-called “Defense of Marriage” proposal because “we simply wanted a marriage to be defined as between a man and a woman.”
