The gay face of Shameless USA style! This is the face of the very cute Cameron Monagahan!

Now, perhaps he isn’t a household name yet, you may not have heard of him, but the chances are, you will do very soon. Cameron is gonna be a huge star this year, he’s landed a part in the USA version of the smash hit British show Shameless!

Cameron started young, appearing in commercials when he was just five years old, and you know, he’s been in the biz ever since. Recently he’s had guest star parts in popular and prime time shows like The Mentalist starring alongside the handsome Simon Baker.

The US version of the cult show is made by Showtime the same company that took on the UK’s ground breaking Queer As Folk and turned it into a much longer running and fuller story version for the US market.

Cameron has bagged himself the part of Ian, the secretly gay third oldest of the crazy, powerful and rough Gallagher family.

Which version is the best ? “I’m a big fan of that. I think that we’re making a show that’s just as a great as the UK version. I’m a fan of both.” the young actor said in a recent interview.

The first episode has its premiere on Showtime in the US on the 9th of January and stars Joan Cusack and William H Macy. Cameron is also in a forthcoming Disney film called Prom which is due out later in the spring, so 2011 could be a very exciting year for the handsome teen star.

Jason Shaw

Remember, we’re talking about blonds, so we’re not talking about Sarah Palin (although she’d be a shoe in for the Dumb Brunette Award.

But yes, it’s “The Views” Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Of course, she does provide some great Springer-ess entertainment to TV.

According to a post on TV Squad:

Knock-down, drag-out fights on ‘The View’ weren’t just limited to political rivals Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck this year. No, no. The ladies of ‘The View’ were also quite comfortable arguing with their guests. Squabbles between Behar and Hasselbeck do figure prominently among our nominees for ‘The View’s’ Best Arguments of 2010. But, there were also memorable altercations involving firebrand Bill O’Reilly and comedian Kathy Griffin.
