According to his blog: P.Viktor is a poet and writer who resides in Oxford, UK. He has been blogging for over five years, usually posting his own poetry, writing reviews of books, films, music, art exhibitions. And anything else do to with culture and entertainment. He could be described as a maven of sorts, or, as another blogger once described him, a Pop Poet. He has published four books so far in his inchoate writing career, three poetry collections – A Marriage of Sorts (2007), The Loss House (2008) and Juvenilia – Collected Poems (2010), as well as his debut novel, Veneer (2008). More information about these can be found on the right sidebar. His aspirations are to continue writing poetry, film scripts, and even another novel. He is also a religious Twitterer and his Twitter updates are included on each page of his blog. He posts here regularly, so be sure to come back to find out what has caught his magpie eye.

Bohemian Rebel: The Rising vol.2 Wow, another collection of my journey to share with you all! I am so proud of this project. This book is yet another tapestry of testimonies, pitfalls, heartaches, breakdown, desires and hunger for and to be loved. But through it all, I’ve learned to love myself like never before. What happens when you become liberated? Do you still go through struggle and tests? Of course! But I have also learned to love the learning and study every lesson. Over a year and some months since the first publication, I have grown as a writer and a person. Confronting true feelings, feeling unfamiliar pains and crossing territories that I’ve never wanted to but had to cross. I must admit, this collection is a bit darker and a lot more personal than the first but I believe we all go through a point of darkness in our lives.

Somehow the trampling of the Wal-Mart employee, over the holiday weekend, epitomizes everything to me. These strange and trying times we live in. The fact that someone actually got trampled to death in a super sale. Then the terrorist attacks in Mubmai, as we American’s gave thanks, I heard time and time again, that we should feel happy for our homes (if we still have them) and our health. In India I’m sure the same thoughts would apply as the world watches in horror at the devastation a few can cause. The survival stories are fascinating and touching.
