All homosexuals should face stoning to death, a Muslim preacher of hate has declared. Anjem Choudary, the firebrand cleric who wants to see Britain ruled by Sharia law, said such a regime was the only way to fix the country’s ills.

Under it, adulterers and homosexuals would be killed by stoning. Asked if that would include anybody – even a Cabinet minister such as Business Secretary Lord Mandelson – Choudary responded with an astonishing diatribe.

Tax Churches for Anti-Gay Policy

What’s more important than feeding starving children, sheltering the homeless, building hospitals and relieving struggling families? Keeping homosexuals down in California, obviously.

After its passage in November, Proposition 8 banned gay marriage in California. It was a harsh blow to the gay and lesbian community. The passage highlighted the strength of organized interests and their divinely righteous ability to stamp out equality wherever it rears its sinful head.

Homosexual Holocaust Victims Remembered

Berlin has remembered homosexual holocaust victims with a monument to the tens of thousands of homosexual’s murdered by the Nazi regime. For many years the the persecution of homosexuals during the Third Reich has been overlooked. The monument’s plaque explains the history of Nazi persecution of homosexuals but also draws people’s attention to the current situation in many countries where homosexual people still face persecution.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T: Think, Think!

Ever since the passage of Prop 8, there has been no lack of established media figures ready to place the blame on the Black community. They have used the 70 percent Black vote for the proposition as a way to make African Americans out as backward, self-serving and downright bigoted.

A glance at the anti-Prop 8 marches–Black, white, Latino, Asian and Arab–shows that this is simply not true. Polls and studies show that African Americans are more likely than whites to support gay rights laws. One of the most common slogans at these same marches is “gay, straight, Black, white–Same struggle, same fight!”

11 Year Mormon Plot

The Box Turtle Bulletin reports on an eleven year old internal LDS memo describing the Mormon strategy to defeat gay marriage.

The memo, dated March 4, 1997, provides insight into the late LDS President Gordon B. Hinckley’s strategy for opposing same-sex marriage. It describes a meeting in which Hinckley gives the go ahead, but urged caution. According to the memo, “he (President Hinckley) also said the (LDS) Church should be in a coalition and not out front by itself.”

Make no mistake about it, Prop 8 is theocracy. A church used its financial clout and organizational ability to push forward its moral agenda. Do you really want to live like a Mormon? I don’t.
