King is the co-founder of World Team Tennis, which this summer will have a team playing in New York City for the first time in 30 years. In 1978, she played with the New York Apples; today, the team is called the NY Sportimes and is led by John McEnroe. It will play a seven-game home schedule in a new 2,000-seat stadium on Randalls Island starting July 7.
