And the 2010 Dumb Blond Award goes to none other than the one who loves to talk about things she knows nothing about.

Remember, we’re talking about blonds, so we’re not talking about Sarah Palin (although she’d be a shoe in for the Dumb Brunette Award.

But yes, it’s “The Views” Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Of course, she does provide some great Springer-ess entertainment to TV.

According to a post on TV Squad:

Knock-down, drag-out fights on ‘The View’ weren’t just limited to political rivals Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck this year. No, no. The ladies of ‘The View’ were also quite comfortable arguing with their guests. Squabbles between Behar and Hasselbeck do figure prominently among our nominees for ‘The View’s’ Best Arguments of 2010. But, there were also memorable altercations involving firebrand Bill O’Reilly and comedian Kathy Griffin.

Our favorite LGBT ally and gay rights advocate Joy Behar stepped it up a bit by having our favorite OUT comedian and co-host of our favorite gay radio program on her show.

That’s right Dave Rubin of Ben and Dave’s Six pack was a panelist on the Joy Behar show earlier this week.

Congrats to Dave and many thanks to Joy for her continued support of the LGBT community.

What Kind of Bull is That?

On a cold Thursday afternoon in Manhattan, Joy Behar is taping an interview with financial expert Suze Orman. “It’s a disgrace,” Behar says of the fact that Orman and longtime partner Kathy Travis can’t legally marry. “I mean, what kind of bullshit is that?” she continues off-camera during a break, sipping Diet Coke through a lipstick-smudged straw. Later, while chatting with guest Joan Rivers about their mutual love of Bette Davis, Behar exclaims, “We’re like a gay man’s wet dream!”

Is the fourth time the charm for Rush Limbaugh? Joy Behar, one of my absolute favorites, does a great job at pointing out how many people, like Rush “where’s my Oxycontin” Limbaugh, seem to be worried about gays ruining the sanctity of marriage, yet they’re marriages haven’t been so sanctified!

A Gay Icon?

From an unknown hockey player in Alaska, Levi Johnston has become “famous” for porking someone’s un-wed daughter and posing nude in Playgirl (VERY average, I might add). And he “wrote” an article for Vanity Fair. Actually, they purchased a story from him to get an inside look at the Palin’s. Enough already!

JOY BEHAR calls him a gay icon. WHAT? Just because a gay porn company films a movie with a look-a-like of you, DOES NOT REALLY make you an icon. I would call that a PARODY! Not Icon darling.

Hello Dolly!

Country legend Dolly Parton has given her support for gay marriage. The gay icon talked to CNN’s Joy Behar on Friday about why her gay audience loves her and added that gays should have to “suffer” marriage too.

When asked why she had such a strong gay following, Parton replied: “I think its because they know I’m different too and it took me a long time be accepted. And I think that they just kind of relate to that.

“But I think they appreciate the fact that I just love everybody for who they are and we’re not supposed to try to change people, we should allow people to be who they are and love them as they are.”
