Perhaps it’s true what they say, you know, “like father, like son”. At least it may be in the case of Mel Gibson as we very well might now know where he get’s his tendency to rant from.

Of course, this is a rant that will make you laugh if nothing else.

According to a post on AceShowBiz:

Mel Gibson’s father has hit headlines after reportedly blasting the Catholic Church and declaring Pope Benedict XVI a “homosexual” on a U.S. radio show at the weekend. TMZ.com has obtained an alleged recording of Hutton Gibson on the Political Cesspool Radio Program, during which he’s asked if the Catholic Church has been “politicized” to the point where it cannot address controversial issues such as homosexuality.

Is the Pope Out of His Mind?

I cannot say that I am a Christian but I, in some way, consider myself as a believer. When the current pope was elected, I wasn’t happy with it, as the world really needs someone a bit more liberal. The latest news have only confirmed my original concerns.

I am quoting a CNN article:

“Condoms aren’t solution to AIDS; they make it worse.”

How can a person like that come up with such an irresponsible statement? The world is full of people who take him as god and that puts a certain responsibility on his shoulders.

The Vatican is Grotesque

It’s not everyday that the Vatican is called “grotesque” by mainstream publications. But that’s what one of Italy’s largest newspapers, La Stampa, labeled the Vatican. The Pope’s home is attempting to block a non-binding proposed UN resolution calling on governments worldwide to decriminalize homosexuality.

Vatican Test for Priesthood

Surely all this makes Pope Benedict himself a prime candidate for psychological testing and exclusion? After all, he wears a dress, loads of jewelery, Prada shoes.He also has a penchant for high church, high camp ritual and theatrics. While I don’t want to indulge in stereotypes, Benedict is not exactly macho. In fact, he’s quite effeminate. He is also surrounded exclusively by men, has an unusually young and handsome male private secretary and has no known close friendships with women.

He would not be the first gay pope. There have been several others, most scandalously Pope Julius III (1487 to 1555), who was more a pederast than a homosexual. He took a 15-year-old boy as his lover and made him a cardinal at the age of 17, showering him with such wealth that he became one of the richest men in Europe.
